The property is a very well maintained "pension" at a convenient location, next to many other similar establishments in the area. The stairs up to the sleeping area may be a bit steep for a family with very young children, but it was not a problem for us. Everything was clean, and we appreciated the kindness of the host, who had to receive us very late at night. One regrettable aspect of the stay was that we were requested to pay an extra sum in cash for having our child with us, when our reservation was for two persons. This did seem unreasonable since the charges listed on Hotels.com for 2 persons is identical to 3 persons, which is why I had not bothered to have our exact numbers reflected in the reservation. But our host did not agree with this explanation, and we did feel coerced to make the additional 20,000 KRW payment in cash. Nothing legally or procedurally wrong with this action, but it did leave a bit of a bad taste, since it was the first time I had such an experience throughout my extensive use of Hotels.com domestically and internationally over the years. Despite this anomaly, I believe most people booking a stay at this residence will find it to be pleasant, as reflected in the ratings.
