John's hospitality is astounding and warm, the place has everything you need: great location, comfy rooms, and a friendly bed/breakfast feel (is not a B&B). Would recommend 10/10!!

My recent stay at the The Store left me thoroughly impressed with John's exceptional hospitality. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and attentive service (and a cuddle from Binx, the cutest dog I've ever seen on staff). They went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Whether offering personalized recommendations for local attractions, or simply checking in to see if there was anything else they could assist with, John (the owner) truly epitomized hospitality at its finest. Beyond the outstanding service, the design of The Store was equally captivating. Every corner of the property exuded artistic intention and sophistication, seamlessly blending modern amenities with charming architectural elements. From the sleek lobby adorned with contemporary feng shui characteristics, to the meticulously landscaped gardens/Koi Pond that provided a serene backdrop for relaxation, every detail was thoughtfully curated to create a tranquil oasis for guests. John and The Store (and Binx!) deliver an unforgettable experience where hospitality and design harmoniously come together.

I came up to Raleigh for New Years and I had a wonderful stay with John at The Store. My girlfriend and I drove up from San Antonio and John accommodated us arriving late and was the most welcoming, charming and courteous host! He showed us around the lovely space, and gave us a wonderful rundown of recommendations for places to eat and get drinks locally. I need to add that John treated us like family for the whole stay, and made me chamomile tea and breakfast when he learned that I was feeling under the weather. I was utterly charmed and moved by his hospitality. I would recommend this lovely business to anyone thinking of staying a few nights in Raleigh!

Lovely stay at The Store. What a beautiful home. The uniqueness of the property really made our stay so enjoyable. We had the larger of the suites & highly recommend it. It was perfect. Such a great experience.

My husband and I are both architects. We booked this place randomly, and had no idea the owner was an architect. The Store is an amazing home! It is a beautiful work of architecture with an incredible attention to detail. We normally don't hang out much where we stay, but this time we didn't want to leave. Sitting outside by the Koi pond was wonderful!

This is my third stay at The Store in Raleigh and I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else. The property has been beautifully designed by a master architect and is rich in details. The vibe is peaceful and modern. John, the proprietor, is friendly, knowledgeable, and it is clear that he has put thought into every detail of the experience. There is a screened porch and koi pond. Book the King Suite for a truly enjoyable experience. It is spacious and has an amazingly big shower complete with a stereo system. There are so many amenities available. I will definitely stay again when I am in Raleigh!
