The check-in process was quite slow. There were three groups of guests waiting in line, but only one staff member was available and she was busy resolving an issue with another guest. Upon opening the door and stepping into the room, we noticed a strong, unpleasant odor of sour perspiration. Because the room did not have a window, the air felt very heavy and stale. The smell returns if you are out the whole day with the air con turned off. Cleanliness in the bathroom was also an issue. The toilet bowl had visible stains, and the floor was quite slippery. To make the stay more comfortable, we ended up buying our own disinfectant and toilet detergent to deep clean the space, and we chose to mop daily with floor wet wipes ourselves. To the hotel's credit, housekeeping did tidy up the room and replenish our toiletries daily. However, I hope management takes steps to improve their deep cleaning standards and staffing levels at the front desk.
