Absolute gem of a hotel. Really enjoyed our stay.

Our stay was very good. Loved the style of the hotel, very clean. We had a king bed room and our tv did not work. We were immediately moved to a king suite. They did not have to upgrade us but they did. Very nice hotel and very friendly, helpful staff

Had to wait 45 minutes for someone to be at the desk in the AM

Loved my stay. Only complaint is that I couldnt get the balcony doors to lock. Called the front desk to send up maintenance and they never came.

It was very cozy and clean

The property was quiet and clean. Very beautiful decorations. The wine hour that happened in the lobby was pleasant and a great way to meet some new people while I was in town for business. I will stay again when back in Omaha.

Great property! Close and convenient to my meetings. Hospitality was top notch and the dining in the bar/restaurant was great!

Very basic, nothing special for how much you pay. They’ll charge you for valet but half the time no one is there to get your car, so you have to walk across the street and retrieve it yourself. Not even a coffee maker in the room, you have to ask for anything like that to be sent to your room. Extremely overpriced for the mediocre quality.

Boutique hotel that accepts dogs

We stayed for New Year’s Eve. It was very busy and the room was not ready at check in time, due an issue with the laundry service. However, they were very apologetic and offered everyone free wine and champagne for the inconvenience. The hotel is pet friendly and we brought our dog. The hotel texted me a couple of days before we arrived and said to let them know if we needed dog food, bowls or a dog bed. I thought that was a nice touch. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Lots of space to move around. They had a couple of parties going on in the hotel that required tickets, but we decided to walk to a couple of places that were in the area. It’s very close to the Blackstone district of Omaha, with many bars and restaurants. The hotel had valet parking for $30 per night, but there is a parking lot about half a block away that is $5 per night, so we parked there with no issues. It is a very nice hotel and we would definitely stay there again, maybe in the summer when we can enjoy the rooftop pool.

I have nothing good to say… We did not stay because my boyfriend‘s mother was in a car accident a few hours before we were to leave to head to Omaha. I attempted to cancel the reservation understanding it was last minute and was told sorry no refund.

Overall my stay was very pleasent and enjoyed the atmosphere of the hotel. My only complaint is their parking. Your options are: (1) vallet service, (2) parking on the side street or (3) parking in a metered parking lot (located down the street). However, with their vallet service, if their lot is getting too full, they will proceed to park (non-handicap) vehicles in handicap spots which causes an inconvenience when a guest that is handicap needs to park. The morning of my departure, i see that the vallet service jammed another (non-handicap) vehicle in a spot so close to my vehicle, that i could not open the door to my vehicle. The point is, if a business is going to have handicap stalls available at their establishment for their guests, those handicap stalls should always be available.

Cottonwood was a great selection for the night of our wedding. The staff was friendly, parking was easy with valet, and the rooms were gorgeous.

Parking was $30 night and I didn’t see that when I booked. No real alternative except a parking garage several blocks away. After tax my 3 night stay would have been over $100 more than anticipated. What’s the sense of comparing pricing on your app if you don’t know the real cost?

Our room was clean, unique, comfortable and quiet. The hotel and grounds are stylish and well taken care of. All the staff we encountered were extremely helpful and friendly.

The Kimpton Cottonwood was a great experience! The lobby is beautiful, the room was spacious and clean, and the amenities were great. Free coffee in the AM and free wine between 5-6 PM. There were a number of great places to sit and work for a bit as well. We didn't get a chance to try the chophouse, but both the Orleans breakfast and the cocktails at the Cottonwood were great and pricing was fair. We had a bit of a situation with our neighbors our first night, but the staff took care of it as quickly as they could and we never had another issue! Thank you for our great stay! We hope to be back soon!

Our go to hotel for Omaha. The difference here that stands out from other hotel is certainly the staff. They make it a point to make your stay enjoyable. We have three kids, aged 5-10 and they didn’t make us feel like a nuisance. Our kids love staying here in the summer season as they can swim in the gorgeous heated outdoor pool. The restaurant and bars are excellent, and there are many conveniences that make staying here and paying a little more worth the money.
