Insula is a wonderful boutique hotel. We had originally booked a nearby Airbnb but unfortunately it did not meet our expectations so we checked out after the first night. Handily, Insula was only a 10-minute walk away and we were able to check in straight away so our move was seamless.
Elena took good care of us throughout our stay. The property is so peaceful despite being located by a busy-ish road. The communal areas are beautifully maintained, particularly the pool and garden areas. There were always plenty of sun loungers available and it never felt crowded.
Breakfast was great with all food options being made from high quality ingredients. We had lunch at the pool bar a couple of times too and the food was excellent.
We stayed in one of the Deluxe rooms. The in-room spa bath was an absolute delight! All in all, we had a lovely, relaxing stay at Insula and woulr highly recommend it.

We stayed at the Insula for just a night. They allowed us to stay and use the pool and facilities at the boutique hotel the next day and looked after our luggage whilst we enjoyed ourselves. The staff were very helpful with our Italian, and spoke good English to help us with our requests. We would very much stay here again, only for longer! Thank you again!

Dontatella and her fabulous team were so welcoming and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The property is beautiful and the pictures do not do the garden justice. The drinks and food were delicious and not at all expensive and the service was excellent. We could walk to most places so a great location. I wish all hotels had the same caliber of staff. This very picky traveler would not hesitate to strongly recommend this hotel.
