The hotel was nice and clean although they did not clean our room after the first night. Also the wifi did not work. But close to everything and very nice restaurants.

Very polite and professional staff, great breakfast.
The shower was next to the toilet, and can use some cleaning/paint/caulking. The internet access was not working.
If you have light sleep go somewhere else, very noisy neighborhood.

I visited different villages and stayed in different hotels during my izmir tour, but for me, Gümrük hotel was the best of the best. Really enjoyed my stay, staff was amazing, the room was just wow! Beautiful design with that cute little balcony and the phenomenal view and you just can't get sick of! Wish I could stay more.(Just one little think is to check the AC)
