Situated in Mexico Beach, this lovely house for $325 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. You'll fall asleep to the sound of waves and awake to a spectacular gulf view right from the master ensuite! Sea Shanty offers a peaceful coastal aesthetic with custom craftsmanship throughout. Great thought has been given to provide the elements for a wonderfully relaxed vacation! The kitchen is well stocked, and the living room offers a leather sofa, 2 leather rocker recliners, along with a 75" smart TV plus, 170+ cable channels. The kitchen bar offers a USB outlet and Wi-Fi is throughout. For indoor dining, there are four kitchen counter bar stools along with a table that seats four and offers a gorgeous gulf view. Both bedrooms are fitted with motorized head lift-beds, hybrid mattresses, and comfortable bedding. The master ensuite includes USB outlets on either side of a king bed and offers a 55" smart TV plus 170+ cable channels. The guest bedroom is furnished with 2 queens and a 43" smart TV, plus 170+ cable channels. Laundry is made easy with a full-size LG Tower washer & dryer, detergent, softener, and laundry bags. An iron, board, and steamer are also available to our guests. Killer's Seafood is a favorite and located just across (two lane) Hwy 98. Sea Shanty's carport offers a picnic table with an additional seating area, where you can enjoy a to-go meal or cook your own on an outdoor gas griddle. Sea Shanty offers a gorgeous wide view of the gulf on every level. From the carport to the living room, to the master ensuite, you’ll greet the gulf's beautiful sunrises and enjoy sunsets to end your day. The carport and both balconies offer seating to take in the sights and sounds of the water’s edge. Be ready to leave the hassle behind and use Sea Shanty's beach chairs (6/adult 4/kids), beach toys & towels, and the awesome Shibumi beach shade! Also for your enjoyment, you'll find binoculars for watching the dolphins, turtle-safe red-beam flashlights to enjoy nighttime walks on the beach, and a portable indoor/outdoor Bluetooth speaker for easy listening. For your convenience, we've installed an awesome outdoor surfboard shower to end your day at the beach sand-free! Sea Shanty’s kitchen and baths are well stocked with paper goods, but should you need more the Dollar General is only 2.5 mi east. Both full baths are equipped with hand soap, a starter shampoo, conditioner, body soap, a blow dryer, and much more. The kitchen offers an ample supply of paper goods, foil, plastic wrap, dish detergents, and garbage bags. Guests are also welcome to use any coffees, creamer & sweetener, teas, spices, seasonings, oils or cooking sprays made available during their stay. Guests will also find a snack tray available! For families with babies and toddlers we are happy to make two playpens with sheets and a highchair available. A white noise machine and a baby monitor are also available, along with toddler dinnerware and sippy cups. Sea Shanty was very clean and comfortable . It was very well stocked, more than any condo I have ever rented. We lacked for nothing from coffee, snacks, extra essentials in case we forgot something from home. Would definitely stay there again. Only drawback I can think of are the stairs going up to the bedrooms which might cause issue with some people. Property manager was great to work with.

Over the years we have stayed in multiple properties in the area, this was the best by far! Great location, super clean, beautiful beach and view. Robin was a great host who has thought of everything. Great communication before the stay and she provided tips and recommendations for the area in her book and emails. Lots of great touches like holiday decorating and little necessities stocked in case you forgot something. Only downside was that we had to leave. Would recommend and stay here again!

Perfect location, spotless home, wonderful trip! Easily the most well-appointed rental we’ve ever stayed in. Robin was a gracious hostess and was super communicative! We appreciated the stocked pantry items, bathroom supplies, dry goods, and toys/beach items! We’ve been coming to Mexico Beach for years and this is my favorite rental property to date, thanks to its location, beach access, and friendly host. We will be back to stay here again!!

My family and I had the pleasure of staying at the Sea Shanty and were blown away by our experience. Ms. Robin is a gracious host and was communicative from the start. The townhouse itself was particularly clean and well stocked with coffee, snacks, and any toiletry you may need. It is amazing. Beach necessities are also provided. Within the back drop of beautiful Mexico Beach, a better place to spend a vacation can’t be found!

Our last visit to MB was 2 months before Hurricane Michael hit. Needless to day, we were heartbroken by the devastation of it. Fast forward 5 years, we were missing Mexico Beach so badly and happened to stumble upon Sea Shanty. What a treasure it turned out to be. The best way I can describe it, and I know it sounds cliche, is "home away from home," but it truly is. All the reviews are absolutely 100% true. Robin has thought of everything you could possibly need, and this place is stocked like you would not believe. Every convenience you could imagine, is at Sea Shanty. It is beautifully decorated, and the view is absolutely stunning. I think we would've tried to tried to stay a few more days, but people were evacuating because of Idahlia, so we left when scheduled. I highly recommend Sea Shanty to anyone who likes vacationing at a slower pace on a beautiful beach and staying in a beautiful place. We hope to go back next year.

This place was perfect! We have spent years renting on 30a and decided we needed a break from the over population and wanted something on the beach. We could not ask for a better location or rental! Everything about our experience was perfect. Sea Shanty felt so warm and welcoming. It was like staying in the home of a friend. From the snacks, coffee, fully stocked kitchen, toiletries, to the beach towels and chairs, Robin anticipated our every need. We truly only needed to bring our swimsuits and flip-flops. Sea Shanty is a beautiful and relaxing ocean front home. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely stay here.

If you are looking for a townhouse to meet your every want and desire you have found it in Sea Shanty. From the moment you drive up to the covered parking area that includes patio seating, table and a griddle. You walk up the steps to enter a grand kitchen with top of the line appliances, with cabinets fully stocked with everything you forgot to pack. If you are a coffee lover Robin has you covered. From k-cups, creamers, to hot chocolate and a regular coffee pot. She even has snacks to go along with that cup of java. Up stairs you will find luxury beds and bedding. She has all you beach items so their is no need to pack that tent and chairs. Robin is a gracious host that truly has invited us into her home. She has thought of everything! She is very responsive when she is contacted. The only negative thing I can say is you will not want to leave.

Even after reading all the reviews and looking at the photos, I was still shocked at how amazing this place was. A large portion of that is due to the overwhelming thoughtfulness of the host. From the sweet welcome gift to the bathrooms stocked with everything you could have possibly forgotten, Robin made a rental feel like you were staying with a family friend. The location isn't anything to overlook, either. It is literally on the beach with waves and breeze 24/7. The decor/furniture was all beautiful as well as comfortable, especially the beds. We even inquired about the model to purchase one for home. I'm afraid the Sea Shanty won't be a secret for too long but we will 100% be returning as soon as we get the chance!!

Even though the weather was not ideal our stay at Sea Shanty was. Robin goes above and beyond to make your stay the most comfortable you can imagine. From access to the beach as well as Killer Seafood " directly across the street to the comfortable beds and everything we needed for utmost comfort, we could not have asked for more.

There are not enough words to describe our stay at Sea Shanty! It surpassed our expectations by far. And Robin, wow, she was amazing and miss accommodating-the hostess with the mostest! I tried to find something the house didn’t have, but she literally had thought about EVERYTHING! This also made our stay even better as we had everything we could possibly need and more. Would recommend 100%!!

Sea Shanty was exceptional. Robin has a knack for creating comfort. Communication was easy and our needs were anticipated. The kitchen had everything we needed, and more. Beds were very comfortable with high end linens. Plenty of beach chairs and towels...and the Shibumi sunshade is the bomb! Hope to return.

Probably the best condo we have stayed at, and we've been doing this for decades. Sea Shanty is a townhouse style condo completely rebuilt after Hurricane Michael (2018). Designed, furnished, and supplied with all the comforts and anticipated needs of guests in mind: we sipped wine and watched beautiful gulf sunsets from the main floor balcony, drank our morning coffee from our Master balcony (complimentary guest robes) and watched dolphins fish and frolic along the shoreline. Used the chairs and gear provided to enjoy the pristine gulf beach throughout the day ... and much more. Extraordinary!

The Sea Shanty, is one of the best places I have ever stayed. I have rented VRBO's many time in the US & abroad. The owner Robin, outshined them all. Everything you can possibly imagine needing on vacation was available. The home is beautifully decorated, & the beds are so comfy.....we didn't want to leave. So we didn't LOL we stayed 2 extra days. I can't say enough wonderful things about the Sea Shanty & Robin. Thank you for being an exceptional host!

This was our first time to the Mexico Beach area. My husband and I were seeking a quiet, less crowded beach vacation. Not only did we get it, we also enjoyed the quiet beach in the most beautiful oceanfront condo we've ever stayed. In my opinion, it exceeded the photos posted on the listing. Not only was it spotless when we arrived, the owners have fully equipped the unit with just about everything you need. All of the linens, towels, kitchenware and appliances are top of the line. We are mattress snobs, and the king mattress is probably the best we've ever slept in. This luxury was just a bonus to our stay. You just can't beat cooking in the kitchen and watching the waves hit the beach. We appreciated having three different ocean and sunset views from one of the three balconies. A special thank you to Robin, our host. She was very attentive to all of our questions. She was generous in providing tips and places to eat and see in the area. We can't wait to return.

Amazing Townhouse
This is truly the most beautiful “home away from home” I’ve ever stayed at on vacation. The condo had any and all amenities you could think of. The host has gone above and beyond to think of everything you could need for a family beach trip. Mexico beach was the perfect low key feel for the older members of our group, and the perfect short 45 minute drive to Panama City for activities for the little ones. We loved our stay at the Sea Shanty!!
