This was the most fantastic stay. The facilities were perfect, clean and comfortable. The location with panoramic views from the terraces was gorgeous. What made my stay really outstanding was the kindness and hospitality of the owners/staff. We really felt at home!

Wonderful setting and apartment. Smooth communication and easy to meet host in nearby bakery owned by the family. Everything required in well thought out apartment including washing machine.

A wonderful apartment located on the second floor of the owners' home. The host family welcomed us warmly and thoughtfully, providing a generous selection of local products in the kitchen upon our arrival.
Our stay was excellent in every respect: the hospitality of the owners was outstanding, and the apartment itself was comfortable, well-equipped, and impeccably maintained.
Another major advantage is Akamatra's location. It offers beautiful views and a central position on the island, making it easy to explore all parts of Ikaria.
I can wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation, and when I return to this wonderful island, I will certainly stay here again.
For future guests, it is worth noting that just a short walk from the house there is a bakery, a café, and a mini-market, while an excellent traditional taverna can be reached in about five minutes on foot.
I would have spent 15 days more...
