We came to Kernville specifically to celebrate my birthday with our family, and the entire stay exceeded our expectations. We absolutely loved not only the beauty and atmosphere of the area, but also the incredible hospitality of the hotel itself.
The property has such a warm, intimate feeling that it almost feels more like staying at a private retreat than a hotel. The rooms were wonderful, the atmosphere was beautiful, and what impressed us most was the staff and the attention they gave to every little detail. We felt genuinely welcomed and cared for throughout our stay.
It made my birthday trip especially memorable, and our whole family left incredibly happy. We’re already looking forward to coming back again!

Biggest pine cones I’ve ever seen. They have a nice apple orchard. Overall good experience. The spot is deep in the forest full of sequoias.

It would’ve been nice to have more variety from day to day for the continental breakfast
The person that checked, the sand wasn’t helpful at all. She couldn’t figure out how to turn the heater on in our room and it was getting very cold. The next day Johnny took over and he was very good at attending to the heater and our requests.
