My husband and I loved everything about the apartment. It was clean, spacious, well equipped and had a magnificent view. Our hosts were very welcoming and accommodating. The garden is lovely and I made good use of the lounge chairs - during the day to soak up the sun and at night to stargaze - perfect!

Wir sind mehr als begeistert vom gesamten Aufenthalt. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist in perfekter und vor allem ruhiger Umgebung, ausgezeichnet für Wanderungen und Ausflüge. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung ist hervorragend. So viele kleine schöne Details, die uns total gefallen haben. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Sie ist auf neuestem Stand, super sauber und lädt ein, eine schöne Zeit zu haben.
Wir werden definitiv wieder herkommen und weitere Urlaube hier in Simonswald verbringen! Das steht fest. Die Aussicht vom Frühstückstisch aus in die Berge wird uns fehlen.

L’apartament és excel·lent: molt còmode i equipat amb tot el que es necessita per a una estada perfecta. Tot estava molt net i el personal va ser molt amable en tot moment. El procés de check-in i check-out va ser molt fàcil i ràpid. Una experiència totalment recomanable!

We had a lovely time at Stubenhof - Höllkopf! The apartment is small but very practical for two. The balcony was amazing! Even when it rained we were able to sit outside and enjoy the view of the mountains. It was also nice that we could use the washing machine, as we had already traveled.
There’s plenty of privacy, and a very roomy parking space. The bathroom and kitchen look very new.
The communication with the owners before arrival was great. We asked if we could arrive a bit earlier than check in time and they helped us out perfectly.
There’s a good bakery (Uwe Wölfle) in the village, as well as restaurants. We enjoyed dinner at Zum Hirschen (traditional German food). They are within walking distance, but the walk back is uphill which may not be suitable for everyone.
It’s a great location to explore the area, to go on hikes and to visit Freiburg im Breisgau.
We would definitely recommend the Stubenhof.
There was nothing we didn’t like.
