Superb location - extremely convenient (walking distance ) for a wedding at Bradstone Manor Farm.

Wir hatten uns bewusst für eine Unterkunft im ländlichen Raum entschieden, damit wir diese als Ausgangspunkt für unsere Ausflüge in Cornwall und Devon nutzen, aber zwischendurch auch einfach gut erholen können. Das ist voll aufgegangen. Es war unglaublich friedlich. Der Gastgeber ist super nett und wir hatten es sehr komfortabel. Die Kommunikation war ebenfalls unglaublich gut, selbst als Magnus selber verreist und gar nicht vor Ort war. Alles was man sich von einem Urlaub in England auf dem Land erwartet wurde zu 100% erfüllt. Bis hin zu Käuzchen in der Nacht und Kaninchen auf der Streuobstwiese, die man vom Esstisch aus beobachten konnte. Der Ruhe geschuldet, zwar nur mit eigenem Wagen zu erreichen, aber dennoch so zentral gelegen, dass man alles Sehenswerte gut und schnell erreichen kann. Für Menschen, die Bedenken wegen der Hunde haben könnten - so liebe Tiere und so gut erzogen - einfach toll. Das einzige was vielleicht für den ein oder anderen wissenswert ist - die Treppe zur Unterkunft ist schmal und recht hoch - wer nicht gut zu Fuß ist, sollte das vielleicht im Vorfeld abklären. Ansonsten kann ich diese Ferienwohnung uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Wir waren ehrlich traurig, als wir abreisen mussten und würden jederzeit wieder hinfahren.

Stunningly superb!!! This beautiful hidden gem Bradstone Grange is a perfectly peaceful retreat surrounded by green rolling meadows as far as the eye can see. Magnus the owner put us totally as ease when introducing Billy our New Zealand Huntaway to his gorgeous Doberman's Henry and Sara who are very well behaved and absolutely adorable. They played with Billy, who's not that great with other dogs as he's very anxious but these two were the perfect temperament for Billy. The accommodation was roomy and warm, comfortable with lots of generous personal additions like milk, bread, butter etc also the bathroom was will stocked! The views and the few days we stayed there have left a very peaceful mark on us, I can't rate this place high enough, it was a complete privilege to stay there and have all the freedom Magnus gave us to wander freely all over his land....
