Great little lodge, well equipped, comfy bed, good shower, very quiet and a very big, enclosed space for my dog to explore.
Its not within walking distance of a pub or shop so ensure you bring plenty of provisions, a car is essential.

Self catering facilities were more than adequate as were the hospitality consumables left for our arrival. Log fired hot tub great.
Soft furnishings were a little uncomfortable, especially the single chair. The hot water supply was a bit sketchy, only just warm enough for a shower and not hot enough to wash dishes without boiling a kettle.

How quaint it was was, just what I expected from a cabin holiday
The Hot tub could do with some solar powered lights on path and around it (or something along those lines). We didn’t like that there was no milk left for us, stated there would be in the welcome book. No soap/hand wash. There was only a General waste bin, which was full and no recycling bin. No wood for the indoor and hot tub burners, also very little lighters and kindling left.

the location was fantastic. really out of the way and private. the lakes surrounding the cabin were beautiful and they was lovely to walk around. when I spoke to the staff they were fab and the heated floor in the bathroom was an added extra. The lodge was very clean and clearly well looked after and well maintained.
For the price that is paid what is offered is very basic. The hot tub was lovely but there was only enough logs provided to warm it up for one night. generally when we have stayed in other lodges/ cabins we have been provided with as a bare minimum milk and enough facilities for hot drinks. there was no milk and barely any sugar. In the images there are bottle of Prosecco which was not included in the stay. Considering we stayed for 4 days some extra toilet roll would have been useful. As well as more cooking trays as only one was provided.
