We absolutely loved our stay at Honey House in Përmet! Our room had a balcony, private entrance and private bathroom, attached to a lovely family home overlooking the river, with very comfortable beds and a beautiful, peaceful setting. The room was immaculately clean. It was just an easy five-minute walk to the center of town, where there’s a large square, plenty of restaurants, and everything you might need.
One of our favorite parts was breakfast overlooking the river, with fresh fruits and vegetables, homemade bread, delicious jams, and, of course, honey! Such a wonderful way to start the morning.
Our host was absolutely delightful, so warm, friendly, and welcoming. She really made us feel at home.
Honey House is a little gem, and we would happily stay here again. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Përmet!

Host was super nice and welcoming, they do have big heart and you can feel it through your stay. That’s why reviews are good.
There was no shower curtain or water stopper from the shower, so after the shower you need to clean the whole floor because water gets everywhere basically. Also, to get cold eggs for breakfast was not very cool.:(

It was cosy and the breakfast was great. The hosts could not have been more helpful.
The property was a little confusing to enter, but otherwise everything was awesome.

We stayed as 2 couples, mid September for 3 nights.
Wonderful hosts, really looked after us. Breakfast was lovely. Lots of animals around, felt very homely. Nice seating areas overlooking the river to eat, read, relax.
5 minutes walk to town but very quiet as Honey House is tucked away.
Layout is one main sitting/dining room with a double and single bed in it, bathroom is off this room, and another room with double and single bed with balcony and a fridge. There is one aircon in the second bedroom so we had to keep the bedroom door open at night to cool the main room down. There is no kitchen, but some glasses, crockery and cutlery if you want to eat.
Excellent communication with hosts.
We booked fantastic rafting and fishing trips through the family's tour operator business Illyrian Adventures.
The bathroom was clean but there was a very unpleasant smell, possibly from the drains.
Bathroom floor was very slippery after shower used, a slip mat would be good.
