We felt very at home at the property. The family who lives there is friendly and welcoming. The well stocked kitchen was open for guests to use. Our room was very clean. There were toiletries if you forgot yours. The location was near downtown but still quiet at the Abbey. The bathrooms were very well stocked and laid out.
The beds were squeaky and not supportive. Because of this, I had a hard time sleeping. Some new mattresses would make a huge difference. Also, the kitchen was not as clean as I would have liked even though it was well stocked.

Right in town and a two minute walk to the start/ finish line of the Leadville Marathon. Use of the kitchen for cooking, getting ice, storing food in the refrigerator.
Rooms are very small and simple, with community bathrooms down the hall. The bathrooms were nice and clean, but the hallway floors are loud and creaky. I did wear earplugs and it helped to not hear every footstep in the middle of the night.

It’s close to the main street where all main restaurants and bars are. Walking distance.
Skeaky bed and floors. I was afraid I'd bother other guests, although I was never bothered by anyone and didn’t notice anything.
Also, shared bathroom. You have to walk through the hallway to reach the toilet and showers. I didn’t expect that, but I guess that is my fault.

Close to town
Beds made noises, Floors were noisy and the noise came through the hollow doors. Could hear through the walls.
