About this cottage rental
Perfectly located in between the beach and downtown in the East End Historic District of Galveston. A short stroll to many popular restaurants and cafes! Enjoy the lovely gardens and butterflies of Darragh Park across the street from the property. Cottage offers two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a sleeper sofa in the living room, fully stocked kitchen and onsite laundry. Street parking as well as off street parking available. Compact cars and small SUVs will fit in the driveway, large vehicles are asked to park in the street at no charge. Book your stay and come enjoy Galveston’s charming and beautiful historic east end.

This was such a good value for two couples for a holiday weekend on the island. The convenient and quiet East End location makes it easy to walk just a couple of blocks to some of our favorites, the Sunflower Café and the Original Mexican Cafe. The little neighborhood park across the street is gorgeous. The little cottage is light and bright, with lots of windows and high ceilings. Soft pastels on the walls and some really cute art, with full-size appliances in the spacious kitchen. The only real drawback is that if you want to park in the driveway, it is a very sharp and constricted turn from Church Alley to driveway, and the neighbors across the street tend to put their trashcan right behind the drive so that sometimes you have to get out and move it in order to make the turn in or out. It was also easy just to park on Church Street itself, though and walk through the yard - we didn’t have any trouble finding street parking while we were there. The host has provided several thoughtful touches like having some toiletries available, and the gatherings are large. We had a great stay and we would definitely stay there again.

We loved the little pink house!!Walkable to so much on the east end.Comfortable Parking was a bit of a challenge but we managed. Pretty park across the street
