The beds were pristine and very comfortable. The separate shower and toilet added to the excellent design of the room. The breakfast was superb! The pool was so much fun!

The location was great and the bed was comfortable. I'm not a fan of glass bathrooms so I appreciated the curtain around the tub. The location was close to the main Tainan station and there are many shops nearby.
There are some small details that could be improved. It would be nice to have one actual chair in the room. Checking in was a little awkward; the concierge directed me to the computer check in station, which was ok once I set it to English, but then it didn't include the Wifi password on the receipt, nor was it written down in the room. I called down and asked but the desk agent got confused about the numbers in English so I ended up going down in person with pen and paper to get the password. Also, there was a lot of perfume in the lobby and I found it off-putting. Grand Banyan Hotel had a strange vibe of aspiring to 4 or 5 star service but then not actually anticipating guests' needs.

Great international hotel in a fantastic location. Close to train station and attractions. Beautiful bed and facilities. Pool area is fantastic thought very shallow. Highly recommend.
