Gorgeous boutique accomodation on the Shaftesbury Estate. Beautifully decorated, comfortable, and well equipped accommodation, and an exceptionally comfortable bed... the best bed in the last 8 weeks on holiday! It was peaceful and quiet and was a nice change from the Dorset Coast.
*The negatives below are trivial compared to the overall experience of staying in the Scullery.*
There was not enough practical lighting. The emphasis was on mood lighting, which was done well. There was comfortable seating in the 'sitting room' for 3 people, but the cottage can accommodate 4. We had to bring a dining chair into the sitting room for the 4th person. The open-plan bedroom/bathroom layout suits those who don't like to ablute in privacy. I would have liked at least a screen between the toilet and the bed.

Wunderbar gelegen in einem Park. Sehr ruhig, pure Natur rings um das Ferienhäuschen. Nachts hat ein Waldkautz gerufen. Einfach wunderschön.

delightfully decorated and quaint - beautiful inside! perfect fire!
the bedroom is quite small and it can be a bit tight having one person against the wall -
but no other way of designing the room.

Very comfortable and charming lodge. Nice and quiet area to relax, as well as being an excellent space for getting some remote work done.
Water in shower didn't seem to go any warmer.
