Clean, exceptionally comfy bed, mini fridge, quiet but near shops and restaurants, accommodating staff, parking, great air con, nice pool area, vending machine with snacks and water.
No negatives, we don’t normally go to the same place twice but we would come here again for a stop over when exploring this part of Spain

We had a lovely stay at Nerja VG Hostal Boutique and would definitely recommend it. The location is perfect, so close to everything, with the beach, restaurants and shops all within easy walking distance, but at the same time it is lovely and quiet.
The whole place was spotlessly clean and our room was spacious, modern and really comfortable. Having a fridge and coffee maker in the room was also a great bonus. We loved the pool area, especially after a day at the beach when it was perfect for cooling down and relaxing.
The staff were all so friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Having onsite parking was another big plus for us as we had a hire car.
A really lovely place to stay in Nerja and somewhere we would happily come back to.

The room was spacious and clean and generally met our needs. The location was great and parking was an added bonus.
Unfortunately, there was a hot water issue in our room, and we didn't have much support in getting it fixed. To be more specific, when we would turn the hot water on, it would be fine for a few seconds and then there would be a burst of scolding hot water, after which it would normalise, and then the cycle would repeat. With a six your old with us, this was somewhat dangerous and we accordingly pointed it out to the staff. Unfortunately, the staff was not initially very helpful and simply said that this was normal. Only when we asked them to come to the room and see for themselves did they acknowledge the issue. The issue wasn't resolved during our stay at least. This spoiled the stay to be honest.
