About this house rental
Come and enjoy yourself in our semi-detached cottage during your stay in the heart of Amish country. Located close to everything while still being on a quiet street. Enjoy your morning coffee on our newly constructed covered deck located at the back of the house or take a quick walk down the street and allow the Bluegate Restaurant to make it for you. We are close to multiple playgrounds, miles of beautiful paved walking and biking paths, downtown shops and of course the flea market. There is a full service kitchen including a replica vintage stove. The master bedroom is located on the main floor off of the kitchen diner. It contains a queen bed and en-suite with both a shower and stand alone tub. While located on the first floor the master bedroom does a have a slight 2" step up. The second bathroom can be found at the bottom of the stairs just off of the living room. There is a queen bed hidden in the sofa. Up the stairs you will find bedroom #2 with a double bed and bedroom #3 with 2 twin beds. While these bedrooms are not connected with the central air system, each room has a window a/c to make sure that everyone sleeps comfortably even on the hottest night. Through the kitchen we have a recently renovated laundry room.

Jessica is a wonderful host. She made sure we were taken care of. Before our trip she communicated all that we needed to know. She even brought us beautiful cut flowers from her garden. The house was clean and perfect for the four of us. Jessica told us before hand that we would have to park on the street so we weren't surprised when we arrived. It is not a busy street and that was no problem. We were within walking distance of many shops and the others we wanted to go to were really close.All in all we had a wonderful, relaxing, no problem time. We will stay with VRBO again. We can't thank Jessica enough.

The house was located within walking distance to downtown. Very clean, everything we needed was provided. The only negative was the bathroom light in the bathroom off of the living area, it hardly provided any light making it difficult to get ready

1. It was fine for what we needed. 2. The small step between the master bedroom and kitchen is dangerous…especially for someone with walking/balance issues. 3. The door frames of both showers had gross orange mold/mildew. 4. It would have been nice to know that the driveway was not available for parking before the day of leaving home to come there. 5. Bigger tv in living room and master bedroom would make viewing more enjoyable. 6. Air conditioning was adequate on first floor. We didn’t use 2nd floor because the steps were steep for us…again an issue for those with walking/balance issues. But the living room sofa was very comfortable! 7. The patio and garden/flowers were beautiful and very enjoyable….especially since I enjoy the same hobby! 8. The fresh flowers in the house was very thoughtful and beautiful! We hope our views/thoughts are only meant to help/improve. Thank you for having us.
