Absolutely everything! Very large penthouse room with the most stunning views. Very clean, large shower, comfortable bed and lovely hosts. Could have stayed for a month!

Ideal location for easy access to the town, less than 10mins down some steep stone steps. Incredible view (photos don’t do it justice). The house is run by a family who go out of their way to help. They spent 30 minutes trying to get through to the airport when we had a question about checking in. The property was beautifully clean and comfortable with lovely balconies and a beautiful shared garden. Best accommodation of our trip!

The best part of our stay was the hospitality from Ljupcho and Marina. They were very welcoming, friendly, and always quick to respond whenever we had a question or needed help.
The location is excellent, especially if you book a lake-facing room. The view over Lake Ohrid is beautiful, and the Old Town, lakefront, and several good restaurants are only a few minutes away on foot. The room was also clean and tidy.
We also appreciated the option of arranging airport pickup and drop-off directly through the property. Although it is a paid service, it was very convenient and made the arrival and departure process much easier.
The biggest issue for us was the poor sound insulation. We could clearly hear people entering the building, walking around, and talking in the common areas. As a light sleeper, this affected my sleep on several nights.
I also personally found the bed uncomfortable, which made it difficult for me to sleep well throughout the stay.
Another issue was the persistent drainage smell from the bathroom. The bathroom itself was clean, but the smell was noticeable enough that we had to keep the bathroom door closed most of the time to prevent it from spreading into the room.
Guests should also be aware that Villa Malezan is a family-run villa rather than a hotel, so daily housekeeping should not be expected. Towels and toilet paper are replaced upon request.
The location is very convenient for the Old Town, but the property is situated uphill. Walking down is easy, but climbing back up can be tiring, particularly for anyone with mobility limitations or who is not comfortable with steep walks.
The room and bathroom are also relatively small. This was manageable for the two of us, but it may matter to guests who prefer more spacious accommodation.

The room was clean and had a beautiful balcony with a view of the lake. Inside the room, there were all the things we needed, such as a hairdryer, iron, plates, glasses, and spoons.
The hosts were very sweet, helpful, friendly, and energetic people. They helped us with everything we needed. We were very happy with our stay.
If we come back again, we would definitely want to stay here again.
