About this cottage rental
The Ecusta Trail House is an adorable, rustic two bed one bath house built in the 1940’s. Originally built as a flower barn for arranging flowers, the Barn house has been fully renovated into a cozy living space! Guests will have the entire upstairs of the house to yourself. The space below is just for storage, not for guest use. Our cozy cottage is just over a mile away from down town Hendersonville! We are about 40 minutes to downtown Asheville and just 20-30 minutes to Brevard, Pisgah National Forest, and DuPont State forest.
We are a dog only friendly home (NO CATS). Our neighborhood is very flat and safe to walk around! THINGS TO NOTE: the yard is not yet fenced in, so please be sure to leash your pups at all times. TV: We do not offer cable channels. You are welcome to bring a Roku/fire stick to plug into the TV’s. Both TV’s are smart TV’s with lots of streaming apps.

The property was exactly like the photos convey! Super cozy & comfortable. The property was well appointed with everything you might need. Large comfy beds, good pillows, towels, etc. The AC worked very well! The location is fantastic! 1 mile from basically everything including Main St. There is a Ingles grocery store and great liquor store about 1/3 mile away. If you like to walk or ride bikes, you are several houses away from the Ecusta Trail. The rental is Five Stars and Madeline the host communicates perfectly. Thank you,

The house was decorated super cute & was so well organized for anything we could have wanted or needed. Beds were comfy & it is a great centralized location for many adventure options. Great communication & easy to understand directions were much appreciated! We loved it!

The host thought of everything from the very comfortable beds to dog treats! You can tell she put a lot of thought into the guests comfort. Will definitely be back.

overall, we had a great time at the Hendersonville house. At first, it seemed a little rough around the edges, but it turned out to be very cozy and clean and a perfect location. The host was wonderful and made us feel comfortable. The best part was the checkout. There were no overbearing rules on cleaning and making sure the place was spotless before we left. We do that normally anyway, but it’s nice to know that your host wasn’t demanding that you scrubbed the toilets and clean out the garbage pail. Overall, a really excellent experience. Probably not for high-end, people that are expecting a five star resort, but wonderful for everyone else.
