This apartment has the most amazing view, we loved watching the colours change on the mountains. It was comfortable and had most of the basics. Getting to the apartment with bags was reasonably easy. The best approach is to drop your bags in the Piazza Emilio Caizzo and then park the car (this may not be possible at weekends).Take the second set of stairs, they are easier to roll bags up and down. We loved Castelmezzano and enjoyed our stay.
The check in instructions and communications were too late. I had to follow them up 3 times and they arrived when we were on our way to the property. It gives you no opportunity to check out what you need to do while you are on wifi. Also some of the basics in the apartment were not there - wine glass, cork screw and the wifi fell over 3 times during our 3 day stay.

Wir waren 2 Nächte im Al cuore del borgo zu Gast. Der Kontakt und das einchecken -einschließlich Schlüsselcode- geht über Handy bzw. Whatsapp, funktioniert gut. Auch meldet sich Maria 2x am Tag und fragt, ob alles ok und ob sie helfen kann -das empfanden wir als sehr fürsorglich und freundlich- obwohl wir uns nun nicht persönlich kennengelernt haben. Die Wohnung war ok, es war alles vorhanden, was man für einen solchen kurzen Aufenthalt brauchte. Für kalte Nächte waren Decken vorhanden und im Bad lief bei unserer Ankunft schon die elektrische Heizung. Apropos Heizung: Man sollte vermeiden, die elektrischen Leitungen zu überbeanspruchen - d.h. Badheizung, elektrischer Wasserkocher und Backofen gleichzeitig einschalten quittiert die Sicherung mit Black out. Einschalten draussen vor der Tür, Schlüssel ist am Schlüsselbund. Fazit: Nicht mehr als zwei Verbraucher zur gleichen Zeit😉!
Ansonsten haben wir uns wohl gefühlt. Man muss bedenken -es ist ein Bergdorf und kein Luxushotel!

Perfect for one or two nights and plenty of cooking facilities.
It smells of cigarette smoke on initial opening of the door. I thought it was the pellet burner but a smoker has recently stayed. Just needs airing out.
The shower head can pop off the holder so be careful!

E uma experiência diferente ficar num burgo pequeno. A vista do quarto é ótima, de frente para as dolomites.
Nao chega a ser o que nao gostei, mas alertas e sugestao.
- a anfitriã manda vários PDF, jpeg, fotos do folheto de instrução. Sugiro fazer um texto objetivo e enviar, porque hoje se consegue fazer transcrição em qualquer idioma pelo google. Para quem está dirigindo é complicado abrir arquivo com círculos, textos, figuras, diagramaçâo de gráfica - folhetos.que se tem que ampliar para ler.
- nao há estacionamento na propriedade. O estacionamento é no sopé do burgo. Acabei pagando 10 euros num parking privado mais próximo, porque o parking de parquímetro acaba sendo descendo a estrada e o estacionamento é encostando o carro no meio fio da estrada, sendo esta estreita e mão e contra-mão. (Estava cheio o burgo.)
- a primeira coisa antes de chegar é "lembre-se de que amanhã tem que sair 10h." Achei antipática a insistência, sendo que isto já fora dito na hora da reserva.
- o aparelho de ar condionado não está funcionando, liga mas nao gela, mesmo estando no mode cool.
