About this house rental

Situated in Empire, this charming house for $200 per night is a great option for your next vacation. The original home built in 1935 has been added on and updated. The great room features a wall of windows with a great view of the mountains and a wood-burning stove. The floors a bit uneven in spots and there is only one bathroom, with a small shower. Large fenced back yard with hot tub and fire pit (pending fire ban). We have tried to create a tranquil mountain retreat to enjoy nature and get away from the hustle of everyday life.

Had a great stay overall. The place is beautiful has great amenities. My only complaint is the level of cleaning required for checkout when I’m already paying for a cleaning fee. Doing dishes by hand, emptying the ashes in the fireplace, treating the hottub with chemicals after use. I just feel like if I’m paying all this money for a cleaning fee that stuff should not be my job. That being said the place was beautiful and very nice. The owners provided a lot of extras as well.

Property was wonderful. Great space and the fenced in yard was perfect for the dogs. The fire pit, outside game space and hot tub were also great for apres ski. Big living room for relaxing. The house is tight for 5 or 6 adults with only one bath. Perfect for four adults or a family of 5 or 6.
