The views over Opatija were stunning and exactly as you’d imagine. The apartment was clean and in a very good condition and both staff members were really polite and helpful throughout the stay and gave excellent suggestions on places to eat.
For a 5 star resort there were a few things missing for me. The apartment has a huge balcony overlooking the city with amazing ocean views but only has two plastic egg cup chairs and tiny coffee table, an option to lay on some comfortable loungers or eat on the deck would be more a 5 star standard.
Around the pool area were some rattan loungers which were starting to break apart but there were no sun shades as an option and I didn’t see anywhere you could get a drink or glass of wine if you wanted one while lounging around the pool.
Lastly, the infra red sauna is available but it’s an extra charge to use which seems odd for a 5 star rated resort.
Being 10-15 minutes from the beachfront and city I would have thought these would be provided.

Clean. Lots of space. Parking included. Staff was fantastic and very helpful.
Top of the hill. Long walk up. In town parking expensive.
