The good quality of the beds and the breakfast plus breakfast area. The solarium was very peaceful and nice also.
Our 4 day stay starting September 22 was booked and confirmed on august 04. When we arrived we noticed that we received a room with no harbor view. We were told the hotel was full. We got a small room (number 15) with big balcony overlooking the street at the back of the hotel. There were better rooms available as we could see while walking through the corridor at room cleaning time. On the first night and while utilizing the hairdryer the socket went into short circuit. The socket was replaced the day after. We also made a comment regarding the smell in the bathroom which got also solved. There is no ventilation system in the bathroom. We also requested that our room is being cleaned every day. This was not done on day one but regularly done the days after. As compensation we received a bottle of wine and two beers at the bar which was appreciated. There is also no more restaurant in the hotel.

I lived in Nyborg for 25 yrs, moved abroad 50+ yrs ago. So, it was interesting to se the place again, town center nearly untouched, the suburbs not recognisable.
Well, I didn't expect anything. The old buildings have been taken good care of. Newer buildings in the old ferry harbour looks typically like any other town with at water front. The marinas are still a place of attraction.
