It’s only a short drive over to the Rumbling Bald clubhouse for golf, swimming, amenities & access to Lake Lure. In just under an hour, you can be in downtown Asheville, and in about 15 minutes, you can be in the towns of Lake Lure & Chimney Rock and approximately 45 minutes to the Asheville Regional Airport. The cabin is accessed via paved and fully maintained roads up to the spacious driveway with parking for 4-5 vehicles. Pets: Many of our guests have allergies, so we have maintained a pet-free environment so they can enjoy their vacation without the potential of an allergic reaction. The lake will begin to be lowered by approximately 1 foot per day until 12 feet have been reached. Infrastructure maintenance, dredging, and dam projects will be expedited during this time frame. These efforts by the Town of Lake Lure may affect access to the lake and restrict any lake usage. For more information, click here. While we understand this is an inconvenience, this does allow you to enjoy the full beauty of Lake Lure in the fall and holiday season.
