MOUNTAIN SUN GODDESS is a 3000 Square Foot mountain home in Rumbling Bald, located on the 15th Fairway of Bald Mountain Golf Course. Professionally managed, cleaned, and professional linen service. Enhanced cleaning protocols used. An Upper Level Great Room and Lower Level Family Room/Game Room make this home perfect for large families and groups. MAIN LEVEL- Great Room offers outstanding views of Rumbling Bald Mountain. Great Room opens onto wrap-around Deck with covered sitting area, gas grill and fire pit, outdoor table. Great Room has Smart TV and gas fireplace (seasonal). Guest Bedroom 1: King bed, Guest Bedroom 2: Queen bed, shared full Bathroom with 2 sinks, combination Tub/Shower. Fully stocked Kitchen, Dining area seats 8 comfortably (10 is doable, but a cozier fit). LOWER LEVEL: New wood floors throughout. Lake Lure is beautiful this time of year with the changing of the leaves. Enjoyed golf, pickleball, hiking, and taking the scenic lake cruise on the pontoon boat. The house was a great place to hang out in the evenings!

We stayed with 6 adults and 4 kids (ranging from 2 to 9). The house has plenty of space, bathrooms, and sleeping arrangements for everyone. The kitchen is small (for the size of the home) and there isn’t a separate dining room. Not necessarily a negative, just something to be aware of. Nice quiet neighborhood with amenities. Highly recommend the lake cruise/tour. We had an issue come up during our stay, but the property manager Sue promptly handled it. I’m adding it to this review as a positive. Some things just happen, but the difference is in how they’re handled. We would definitely return!

It was a great home for 4 couples attending a wedding at Rumbling Bald Resort. It provided a great kitchen table for us to gather around for breakfasts, evenings on the decks and a really fun night playing ping pong, foosball and pool.
Most importantly, the house was very clean and comfortable beds. The owners were very attentive as well. 10 out of 10.

lake Lure is beautiful, pool, beach, golf all right there, a bit of a windy drive into Chimney Rock and the grocery store but great area!

We had a very nice stay and the house was as shown in the pictures. Location was easy to get down to the resort amenities and we enjoyed a lot of family time in the living room. The wide open space, game room and multiple decks were perfect for our group to spend time together.

Our three senior couples used this property as a base for our visit to Asheville. If your focus is Asheville touring, know that your travel time in and out of the city is a little over an hour each way. This property is great for a large gathering whose intent is to stay put and enjoy all the amenities of the Lake Lure area. The property was very clean and we appreciated the views from the lovely wraparound deck.

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at Mt Sun Goddess! Can’t beat the unobstructed views, large porches on multiple levels and fully stocked kitchen. Kids and adults alike enjoyed playing ping pong, foosball, and pool in the basement. The Rumbling Bald Resort also has so much to offer for the whole family. We will definitely keep this house in mind for future vacations.

We had a great time at Rumbling Bald Resort. Mtn Sun Goddess accomodated our family very well. There were some issues that we encountered and we contacted Sue and she took care of them very quickly. The view was gorgeous from the home and we loved sitting on the deck. I said that I wouldn't recommend this to a friend only because it's location and that the kitchen was small and didn't really have the cupboard space available for food items that we brought. Parking wasn't ideal and although the livingroom windows were beautiful the room got hot as the sun came around and set over the mountain. We love the resort and certainly will be coming back again.

We had a wonderful time. The house was beautiful and extremely clean. The area is gorgeous. We had plenty of room for all our family and the little ones specially enjoyed the downstairs play room. One of the highlights of our trip was coming home from the pool to find a mother bear and two cubs in the driveway. They walked to the back of the house and stayed just under the decks for almost an hour. I would recommend property to anyone who wants to enjoy the mountains, pool, golf course and lake.

Perfect Vacation Home in the Mountains
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home! It has a gorgeous view of the mountains and sits right above the golf course. A quick 5-minute drive to the beach, pool, restaurants, etc. All the bedrooms are spacious and comfortable and the kitchen has all the basic necessities. We made good use of the pool table in the lower level as well. We would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Mountain Sun Goddess was the perfect house for our family of 6 adults and 4 kids. The mountain views off the wraparound porch were stunning and there was plenty of space for all of us to relax in between activities. Proximity to Rumbling Bald resort and access to their amenities was great for the kids-pool, fitness center, mini golf, beach with kayaking & paddle boarding, pontoon rental, etc. Chimney Rock State Park is also a must-see attraction in the area. Overall, a wonderful house and stay!

My family of 3 wanted to get out of town and check out Lake Lure. The Mountain Sun Goddess was a nice destination. The weather was cold & windy while we were there but the game room in the house was a fun option. We played ping pong & foosball. The dartboard was a bit of a disappointment since the darts weren't in good condition & therefore didn't work with the electronic dart board but we found other things to do. The indoor pool at the wellness center was a hit for our 10yr old and the view from the house was lovely. The property manager was very attentive and available if we needed any suggestions for going out or any concerns with the house.

Absolutely beautiful home and property! Wish we could have stayed longer to experience all the resort had to offer. Communication with property owner was amazing and thorough. Only downside was a couple of the beds were a little firm. Would definitely recommend this home! We hope to be back in the future!

Beautiful cabin for large groups
We loved our stay at Rumbling Bald. This cabin was very comfortable for our large group of 11. Two master suits and a bunk room for the kids allowed for separation but lots of time together. The property manager was amazing and gave us wonderful suggestions. I highly recommend this property to anyone coming to the area!
