We are kid friendly and have a trampoline and swing in the back yard as well as a playground and basket ball court in our neighborhood just a few blocks away. We are located just 5 minutes from I-70 and 63 and less than a 10 minute drive to MIZZOU, University Hospital, and downtown. You will enjoy your stay and have the complete lower level of our home with your own entrance and keypad. We live upstairs but try to keep the noise to a minimum. Guests have access to a microwave, mini fridge, Keurig coffee maker, and assorted glassware. The kitchenette is stocked with a wine opener, can opener, coffee cups, wine glasses, beer mugs, and silverware, so guests are able to prepare food and drinks. Piedmont Palace provides coffees, creamers, snacks, and drinks. There is a queen size bed in the bedroom with ample closet space, a ceiling fan, a tabletop fan, hangers, and a dresser. An ironing board and iron are available as well. Towels, washcloths, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are available. There is a twin size bed, too! We also offer 2 BRAND NEW queen air Mattresses with built-in pumps. We offer extra bedding, as well. Cozy up in front of the fireplace with one of the many comfy throws while accessing Netflix and Disney+ on our flatscreen TV. Wi-Fi is available. My sister and I have very few opportunities to be alone together with time to share our reminiscences, worries, and pleasures. This was such a perfect place for us. Besides all the conveniences and comforts, the decor was stunning. The owner replied quickly and pleasantly to all my questions.

We visited for a few days while moving our daughter into her dorm at MIZZOU. We found the apartment to be beautifully furnished and comfortable. The owner is very responsive and offered to assist in anyway possible. The location is on a quiet street with easy access to restaurants and retail. However, I would caution anyone with mobility issues to use care walking from the back gate to the property entrance. We arrived after dark and had to use the flashlights on our phones to pick our way down an unlighted, unpaved and slightly sloping part of the backyard to the door. I would strongly recommend that the owner consider adding paving stones and lights. As is typical of a basement apartment there may be early morning noise from upstairs. While we were fine with it, those sensitive to noise might find it a bit bothersome. There isn’t access to a washer and dryer so visitors staying longer than a few nights should take that into consideration. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Super clean, it’s a basement apartment. Would love a full sized refrigerator and a small tv in master bedroom but for the most part, it’s perfect.

Two days before booking the host kindly offered to allow us a later check out time, but then also sent a bill for an additional $200 stating that VRBO has an additional fee for each person when more than two people are staying, and that VRBO forgot to charge us when we booked and paid for the room more than 9 months ago. I reminded her that I had a paid receipt showing a reservation for 6 people and if VRBO did indeed make this error, that was between her and VRBO, but I would never have reserved the room for this rate. She told me it was out of her hands and refused to allow me to cancel and get my money back. VRBO informed me that a host cannot add any charges after payment and that they have nothing to do with extra person charges, that is all up to the host. After 4-5 hours of phone calls with VRBO, and the host continually insisting upon this extra payment and that it was not her but VRBO insisting on these extra charges, the case was finally forwarded to the Violations Team and they refunded me and also paid for a hotel room. This was a stay for my son’s graduation from Mizzou, and we assume that the host realized that other properties were charging exorbitant rates and that, as pretty much everything was booked up, we would be desperate enough to pay her. We did not stay here, worried that she would find some other way to add on charges such as made up damages fees, as it was clear she was being dishonest with us about the extra charges.

Very clean, and felt like home. The only thing is I didn’t look close enough to realize it wasn’t a full kitchen which was my mistake so we just had to go out for dinner which not a big deal. But overall a wonderful place. Nice neighborhood and an amazing host that responds quickly with any issues you have

Very beautiful place. Very spacious. Bed was very comfortable. We come a couple times a year to visit our daughter who attends University of Missouri. We would stay here again.

On the application, this property was said to sleep 7. However, four of those were queen sized air mattresses, and one was a couch. Very good neighborhood and travel distance from Mizzou campus. Family that lived above was pleasant but loud at points. Small children crying and dogs barking made for a few earlier mornings than expected, but overall a good stay for a short period of time.
