HOSTEL PORTON

So nice to get a break from bunk beds while on the Camino. Each bed has a locker. It is super clean. The owner is super friendly. There is a kitchen and big table and even a coffee pot you can use in the morning. There is a super cute lounge room. The location is super close to a bunch of restaurants, catedral, and a portón. I felt safe walking around at night as a single female. For the reviews talking about flies, who cares? There are some tiny flies by some drains. The owner obviously takes care of this place and keeps it super clean. Shower and toilet are private and are great. It felt like a nice change from the typical albuergues. Highly recommend!! And again, no bunk beds!!!!

The remote check in which increasingly seems to be the trend Very difficult if your phone has low batteries

The interior was very nice, it was clean and spacious with some nice facilities for Camino walkers. A reasonable price for the city.

Don’t be put off by the external appearance of the building, it is a lot better inside.

too much noise from adjacent bar that was owned by same owner as hostel- noise until around 5 in the morning and light not turned off on hostel until midnight. all this distracted from otherwise good hostel.
