Simple, but great

What we did appreciate about the area was the Lidl located right next to the apartment, as well as several good restaurants in the surrounding streets. Public transport is also very convenient and close to the accommodation, and the Duomo is only about 20 minutes away by metro. The apartment itself is exactly as shown in the pictures, so it was absolutely not disappointing. It’s not a fancy place, but clear, big and convenient, so it was just perfect for our needs. There were 6 of us, and the apartment was very comfortable for everyone. All rooms have air conditioning, which was definitely a plus. It was also very easy to communicate with the owner about our special requests via WhatsApp. He was communicative, helpful and accommodating throughout our stay.

The neighborhood is quite littered and at first glance, not the most inviting or reassuring. However, there are some good things nearby as I mentioned in the previous, positive section. The key handover was a little complicated, as it didn’t go exactly as previously agreed. After a few calls, however, everything was eventually sorted out. We also initially received one set of bed linen fewer than we had requested. To be fair, keeping track of the changes in our group size was not easy, and the owner resolved the issue very quickly once we pointed it out, so in the end, we were absolutely satisfied.

Comfortable but not clean. Dissapointed, would not repeat it.

Comfortable beds Fast internet Good water pressure

The apartment overall looked clean, which we appreciated, but there were several issues that made our stay less enjoyable. Out of the six pillows provided, three had an unpleasant smell, and most of the towels also had a bad moisture odor, which was disappointing but luckily we had our own towels. The booking description was misleading — it stated that the apartment had two bathrooms, but only after we completed the reservation were we told that the second bathroom was only available for an extra charge and had to be requested. This should have been made clear upfront. Check-out was another issue — although it was stated to be at 11am, someone came knocking on our door right at that time, which felt a bit rushed and intrusive. One of the biggest red flags was that the owner requested payment outside of the Booking.com platform. I’ve used Booking.com for years and never encountered this before, so we initially thought it was a scam. We contacted Booking.com’s support and they confirmed it was legitimate, but the process still felt uncomfortable and not very professional. Additionally, the owner was not particularly friendly and insisted on seeing our passports even before we stepped inside the property, which came off as unwelcoming.

Przestrzeń, apartament na prawdę duży, dwa balkony i sporo przestrzeni.

Sprzątane powierzchownie. Sporo kurzu i brudu w niektórych miejscach. Niektóre ręczniki śmierdziały stęchlizną.
