Schon wegen dieser wunderbaren Dachterrasse würden wir nochmal buchen

Ein ganz tolles Haus mit ein paar Macken. Im Erdgeschoss ist die Küche, ein Bad und ein Zimmer (hier haben wir unsere Koffer abgestellt). Küche wie schon beschrieben, eine ältere Holzküche die sauber war, kaum Tageslicht nur durch Glasbausteine, aber eine sehr helle Neonröhre. Für uns hat es gereicht, schöne Wein- und Wassergläser, Geschirr war in Ordnung aber wir haben nur 3x gekocht, für 6 Personen kann ich nicht beurteilen ob die Ausstattung reicht. Es gibt eine Pad-Kaffeemaschine, einen Tischgrill, einen Gasherd und einen riesigen Kühlschrank. Man kann in der Küche allerdings nur an einer kleinen Theke zu zweit sitzen. Im 1. Stock ist ein schönes riesiges Schlafzimmer mit Bad und angeschlossenem kleinen Kinderzimmer mit Etagenbett und im 2. Stock die Traum-Dachterrasse mit Schlafzimmer und Bad. Unser Highlight, hier haben wir alle Zeit verbracht die wir im Haus waren, hier wurde gefrühstückt, Wein getrunken etc. Die Treppen im Haus sind steil, aber wir sind um die 60, uns haben die Treppen nicht gestört. Handtücher, Decken alles war sehr großzügig bemessen. Bei Ankunft war die oberste Toilette verstopft und umgehend wurde ein Handwerker geschickt, der dies behoben hat. Der Blick von der Terrasse ist einfach traumhaft, man schaut auf den kleinen Hafen ins Naturschutzgebiet und auf den Atlantik. Gigantische Sonnenaufgänge, viele Vögel einfach wunderbar! Die Terrasse hat uns für alles andere entschädigt! Erwähnenswert ist das Restaurant Casa Corvo vor der Haustür, für uns mit Abstand das beste im Ort!!

Das Haus ist am Hafen und zwischen zwei Restaurants, also oftmals ziemlich laut. Eigentlich eine 30er Zone, woran sich aber nachts niemand hält. Auch die Fischerboote die nachts auslaufen, sind gut zu hören. Bei Regen hatten wir einmal zwei Kakerlaken im Erdgeschoss, wir haben gesprüht und danach war es gut. Öfters waren im Flur kleine schwarze Würmer (die Vermieterin hat uns erklärt, dass die durch einen schmalen Ritz im Flur kommen, der auch immer weder abgedichtet wird) die wir vor die Tür gekehrt haben, meist lagen sie aber vertrocknet da. Aber in einem Hafen und Naturschutzgebiet wohl eher nicht zu vermeiden.

Lovely house and great location

great location and very clean

stairs would be difficult for small children and possibly older people but fine for us . We had a heatwave so could have done with a fan but normal summer weather it’s ok .

Querky house in fantastic location

The position , the house,the village, the view. The main double bedroom was amazing. The house is beautifully decorated. When encountered a problem with outside light, they were prompt in there response. This property is close to the restaurants in the village and they are fantastic. ( Booking advised even though it was early June). Close to ferry to fuseta island. There is also a train station in the village, which we used to visit Faro & Tavira.

The stairs were very steep and we didn't realize the second bedroom was off the sun terrace. So be aware if you have mobility problems. The kitchen was a bit of a problem. There is obviously a new fridge freezer (which is perfect) . However they haven't removed the integrated one and when looking for utensils unwittingly opened the old one and the smell was awful. Cupboards very high so couldn't reach everything. There is no kettle.

Brilliant first trip to Fuseta

Location was perfect, short walk to beach, restaurants outside front door etc. House was stunning, over 3 levels. Beautiful tile work throughout. Amazing large master bedroom with Juliet balconies. Large roof top terrace with sun loungers was our favourite spot to relax!!

No kettle, no hairdryer. 2 sets of steep, narrow stairs so I wouldn’t recommend for very young children, or elderly, & anyone with mobility issues.
