Host was superb, due to high winds we were given the option to cancel which we didn’t. The top pod WAS MOVING ALOT in the high winds but they did warn us! The beds were comfortable - facilities in the room great. However if anyone has challenges with steep stairs this is probably not the hotel for you. Both of the pods we had had very very steep stairs and in one of them you had to go down them if you needed the loo in the night, for my 80+ year old mum this was not good so we swapped pods. Otherwise a very comfortable and unique stay and I would personally not hesitate to stay again

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We loved the view from our pod and the quirkiness of it. We enjoyed the art-based atmosphere of East Quay and the exhibitions. The East Quay Kitchen was great and very convenient with a friendly atmosphere, helpful staff and delicious cakes. Watchet is a great place and we will definitely be visiting again.
As it was wet weather, we thought it would be useful to have somewhere to hang our coats and a door mat at the entrance.
Bean bags or similar to sit on in the mezzanine area would have made better use of the space.
