The rooms are amazing in terms of design and cleanliness, staff is friendly buy unfortunately the price for what you get is a little expensive, one restaurant, no variety of food to chose, you can’t go to town easy in case you are hungry and they have no food service during lunch and after 7:30pm.

The food is not good, they only give you one option for breakfast pretty poorly served. Dinner is only from 5:30 to 7:30pm with no more options for snacks or so. The menu is pretty poor in quality, food not tasty and price is high for what you get. I got raw trout had to send it back, got friend chicken and the taste was terrible.

Location, location, location. Superb food at dinner and breakfast. Peace and quiet.

Great view and animal farm, NOTHING ELSE!

We are a very well traveled couple in our 70s, we try always to be "generous" with our reviews. The driver to take us to the hotel was not waiting for us at the train station; we found the car with the hotel logo 100 mts uphill from the station. The driver claimed the hotel should have informed us about the meeting point which never happened. The hotel confirmed that they did not notify us. Upon arrival we were directed to our room. Right away we noticed that the safe had its key missing; we informed to one of the male receptionist and he said that he will get to our room momentarily to help us. He never came back. We also noticed the room lacked toiletries and robes while listed as included in our room. After 1hr, I went up to the reception to ask again to the same person about the key; he acted like it was something new to him. At this point another receptionist (Raul, perhaps the supervisor) explained to me that the key was missing because the previous guest forgot to return it and we would have to get by without a safe. I informed Raul of the other missing toiletries/robes we expected to have in our room. He then asked a female receptionist the items be brought to our room right away. After waiting 1 hr I went back to the reception and asked the same lady about the items. She informed me that since the room did not have a jacuzzi we did not qualified for robes and if we wanted them we NEEDED TO PAY AN EXTRA FEE (??!!) The next day we expected our room to be cleaned upon return late from our tour, but it was not. I questioned it and was told that housekeeping needed our permission to get into the room to clean it. We were never asked about such permission by anyone at check-in! Regarding breakfast: although the food is good, the options are limited to 2. It seems to us that this hotel is run by either incompetent or dishonest personnel. In summary, overpriced for the service and comfort provided as well as the hotel category they depict to be.
