We had an excellent weekend staying in this beautiful cottage. It had everything we needed to enjoy our time as a large group and the short walk into town made it so easy to enjoy the town. Would highly recommended

This is a wonderful spacious cottage made all the better by the Christmas tree and decorations that had been put up There were ten of us and we can’t speak highly enough of the comfort and amazing time we had The rooms were spacious and clean and no complaints apart from the pillows being too soft It is within a 10-15 walk to the village and a similar walk to the large co-op supermarket It was a shame that it was the coldest weekend of the year and prevented more playing of pool in the summerhouse!! But the house was warm thankfully Special thanks to the property owner Zoe who was of great help and advice

The house was located down a little road so was deliciously quiet and calm. It’s very spacious, and cosy. The bedrooms were all nicely appointed, with good showers and a bath. The living space was large, and airy. With a log burner, we could easily keep snuggly warm. There’s a reasonable cooker, and a selection of pots and pans. Not the best for cooking at home, but workable. There was a mishmash of glassware, and plenty of large plates. It would definitely benefit from a complete set of red/white/water/flute glasses, and a matching set of crockery. There were no side plates, for example. There were some dessert- sized unmatched plates, so we got by. The place is great for entertaining because of the space. It was lovely! Perhaps as hoteliers, restaurateurs and hospitality people - well, perhaps we’re a little critical with crockery, glassware etc but in an entertaining space, it’s really important. Thanks for a great stay. We loved being there, and the town is such a treat!

We had a lovely stay in the Cotswold! The house was beautiful but unfortunately not very clean which was a shame. Everything in the kitchen was sticky! We wanted to fry an egg but the pan was filthy and unusable. I had been traveling and wanted to wash some clothes but the washing machine was so dirty that I didn’t want to put my clothes in there. The rim was totally black of mould & dirt. The kitchen was very spacious but needs some tlc (tender, love & care) The living room was very spacious and comfortable but the windows extremely dirty which was a shame as it didn’t do any justice for the house. The bedrooms were ok, but some mattresses not comfortable. The beds were made in a hurry as none of the covers where sipped up & towels where a mix match and stained. Two bedrooms had an en-suite bathroom with showers but the 3rd bathroom had only a bath which needed to be shared with an other 3 bedrooms, so we ended up all sharing the 2 bathrooms with showers. The decor was average and not much love put into it, which was a real shame for such a beautiful house in a stunning location. The outdoors was nice but again the bbq was left dirty hence we didn’t use it! Overal we had a lovely stay and didn’t let the negative overrule the positive but I don’t think I would recommend this house to friends.

We stayed mid week as a family of 9. We were in lunch with the weather too and hence had a lovely time both inside and outdoors. The village is about 10 mins walk away from the cottage. Like what others have said, the furniture needs updating.
