Lovely cottage, great space outdoors and waking up to see alpacas right outside the front door was a dream! The host was so considerate and had left us fresh milk, eggs, a cake she had baked and some freshly made bread - so thoughtful and very appreciated. The toys left outside for the kids to play with was great and it felt safe to let them have a run around. Lovely experience and lots to do locally. The hot tub and being able to toast marshmallows was a huge hit too!
The weather was pretty hot which made it quite difficult to sleep comfortably at night as the rooms were so warm. A fan in each room for when it's hot would make a great addition. Also, the room description needs to be amended as it stated there a 3 bedrooms; one with a double bed and 2 single beds, one with a double bed and a bunk bed and with a double bed. There were 3 bedrooms but there was only a double bed in 2 rooms and the third room was a bunk bed only (double at the bottom and single at the top). Worked for us but this may not work for other groups visiting.

Amazing setting in the countryside!! We loved the alpacas, and they were directly in front of our cottage, we could feed them and look at them. We felt it was so peaceful and beautiful. We also choose this place as it offered Hot tub and bbq, and it was great to have them. The rooms and the kitchen were comfortable. We appreciated that the kitchen was well stocked with dishes and everything one needs for cooking. Everything was very clean, there were bathrobes for hot tub. The host kindly greeted us with fresh milk, eggs and cake. Our family had great and peaceful time at the cottage!!
Everything was great!! Small things would be that we run out of coffee on the second night, and we struggled to fire up bbq and lacked a little bit more of wood. A check out at 11-12 vs 10am would have been more comfortable.

The property is beautiful; it's cosy clean and beautifully situated with the views of the animals and fields. The host Lorainne ensured we were well catered for; greeted with a friendly face, fresh bread, the most delicious cake and the hot tub fired up.
