Beautiful property! With 3 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms, our group was very comfortable. Loved the kitchen & giant table/counter- perfect for meals and games! We all LOVED the easy beach access. Easy back-&-forth for snacks, bathroom, naps, etc. Loved the outside shower & patio hoses to wash off sandy feet/bathing-suits/dogs/etc. The hot tub was PRISTINE and easy to use.We used the charcoal grill for steaks one night. The washer & dryer work great! Pots, pans, coffee pots/keurig are in great condition. We couldn’t get the ice maker to work in freezer to work, but just brought in our own. We’ll be back!!

We had a wonderful stay at the Yellow Rose. The house was well designed for our group of 5 adults and a baby, but could have accommodated many more, with plenty of shared space for relaxing both inside and outside on the deck. The largest room is set up to accommodate 8 people but is mostly bunk beds so would be best suited for families/kids. The location is great...right on the gulf and close to High Island and Bolivar Peninsula birding spots...and away from the more densely populated parts of the peninsula. Lovely and relaxing.

We absolutely loved staying at your house! It was a perfect beach home. Clean big and plenty of room for our party of 11. We would have enjoyed a bigger table for card games at night but we made do on the breakfast bar!!

First, I want to say the home itself is beautiful and has the potential to be a 5-star rental with the right improvements. At first glance, everything looked clean and inviting, but it didn't take long to notice issues. Small roaches began appearing almost immediately—they were on the floors, cabinets, walls, ceiling, even in the microwave and outside. One even fell on my daughter while she was trying to sleep. When we got home, I had to shake out all of our belongings to make sure none came with us.
Additionally, as the floors got sandy and we swept, we discovered a surprising amount of black dog hair. The outside child/pet gate latch was completely rusted and unusable, and one of the bed pillows had a strong, unpleasant odor.
With proper extermination and more thorough cleanings, this property could absolutely be a 5-star stay.
