Everything was perfect. Great spot in the hotel, not too loud. Close to Everything! Room was clean, building smelled clean. Staff was friendly and helpful.

This is my third time staying at this hotel- twice with booking.com, once booked directly. The staff made our check in and check out processes very frustrating. Our room was not ready on time and the staff brushed it off. After asking, they decided to move us to a different room that was ready. Why wouldn’t they have done this in the first place? Why keep us waiting intentionally? The room we moved into did not have all included amenities (hairdryer, etc). We had to continually ask at the front desk as there are no phones to lobby. Prior to check out, the housekeeping tried to enter our room three times during the last hour of our booking, each time using the key to open the door, and only knocking the first time. We paid for the hour, and this was intrusive, inappropriate, and made us incredibly uncomfortable. We mentioned at check out but weren’t offered an apology. The price of this hotel is expensive, and we already weren’t getting the pool. As a frequent guest I feel I deserved better, and got the worst out of the staff, which added disappointment to what should have been a great weekend getaway. I hope grove hotel can make it up to me in someway for a future stay, given my history of booking this hotel.
