About this cabin rental
Rustic yet refined, this private cabin offers an open and inviting interior with soaring ceilings featuring 2 immaculately designed levels, 2 bedrooms plus a loft, 1 full bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchen, nestled in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains. So, coffee lovers, wrap up in your favorite blanket and come enjoy sipping your favorite espresso, cappuccino or latte while sitting by the fire pit and marveling over these gorgeous mountain views!
Access and all check in information is provided the morning of check in once guest IDs are submitted. The property is situated on a mountain. The main roads are easy to navigate and there is a elongated uphill drive to enter Tanner`s Ridge Mountain. Once in the neighborhood you would need to drive on gravel roads cautiously for about 10 min, we highly recommend 4x4 especially during snow days. There is a steep driveway with lots of flat space to park at the top.
Checking in and out: Check-in after 4:00 PM Checkout before 10:00 AM
Gov`t Issued ID Required for All Adult Guests, Must be 23 to rent.
Dogs allowed: Max 2 Dogs, No Cats, Pup Fee $45 per pet for the stay
No parties or events, No smoking, No commercial photography
Early Check in Fee $50 before 4 pm, Late Check Out Fee $50 after 10 am
Early and Late Check outs must be approved and cannot always be accommodated.
During your stay: 6 guests maximum
Self check-in with lockbox - Access provided the morning of check in as long as IDs have been submitted.

Very nice property and responsive host. Gravel path in neighborhood and driveway can be tricky if you do not have AWD (Honda CRV did fine on rainy days in spring). Access to Shenandoah is 30 minute drive away

The cabin is gorgeous. We loved the big windows and the telescope was a nice touch. The kitchen is spacious with everything you might need. The decor was adorable. Very secluded and quiet with a beautiful view.Unfortunately, while basic housekeeping was done (bedding and towels were clean, there were no bugs) there were some major issues that prevented us from fully enjoying our stay. The hot tub, which was one of the main reasons we chose this cabin, had clearly not been cleaned in some time as the jets churned up a lot of biofilm. There were what looked like blue koolaid hand prints on the wall in the main bedroom and when we stripped the sheets off the bed at the end of the visit per the host’s request there was a koolaid spill on the mattress protector. The shower had a lot of dark long hairs in it and drained very slowly. The inside of the kitchen cabinets were dirty and some of the dishes had to be washed before using them. The freezer did not get cold enough to freeze.Overall we had a pleasant stay due to the beauty of the cabin but would not rebook.
