We were 3 couples visiting in winter and this was a great place for friends to share accommodation. So toasty warm and inviting. Great entertainment areas and nice to stay in a cook a meal. 3 ensuites and three big rooms with comfortable beds and pillows.

The lodge was very comfortable with beautiful furnishings and good quality utilities. It was in a lovely quiet location with great views and access to the lake. It was located close to Taupo amenities and sightseeing spots.
We thought the property had a garden area we could use when we booked as we have a dog, but there was someone living in the garden room, which meant we could not roam freely in the garden without intruding in their space.

Lovely, interesting home, beautifully furnished and very well equiped with top quality appliances.
Lakeside setting with access through the garden.
Four wall lights, two table lamps and a standard lamp were not working.

Heated floor, space and the view.
Ants! One of the bathrooms had huge ant infestation and could not use it. We had to use our towel to mop and clean it. Also someone left sugar in the pantry that wasn’t sealed so I had to clean it too! Staff just came to give us fly spray and left without cleaning. We asked for a little money back but got ignored.
