Absolutely beautiful building in Berat - great location on the other side of the river, with amazing views of the castle and old town across the way. We chose the location to be a bit outside of old town on purpose. The neighborhood around us was really lovely - great little restaurants and bars, but also so easy to cross the bridge into old town. Breakfast was incredible and everyone on staff was really nice. Plan to pay in cash upon arrival.
Parking and road navigation is a little confusing when first arriving. Google will think you can drive to it - you cannot! Just park in the nearest lot and walk from there. (there are hills.. unavoidable in Berat ;) ).

Perfect location, amazing views from hotel, breakfast with table service, really old and cool hotel rooms, aircondition and rock walls make it a good place to stay when it is 40 degrees outside, really nice shower area, easy and fast check-in. Really good restaurants are only 200m away.
Coffee was not good, would be nice to have real coffee. Maps shows that you have a chance to drive with car to the hotel, but actually normal car do not fit the last strech to the hotel, and small streets are not for parking.

Location in the historical Gorica quarter, beautiful rustic interior design, tasty breakfast on the balcony with an amazing view.
Unfortunately, we got a totally different room from the one we had booked on Booking.com. That means that it had no windows whatsoever (which we do mind). At night, the light coming from the corridor was a bit bothersome. We would have requested another room (mind you, all the staff is friendly there), but the reception was closed when we arrived even though it should be open as per the information provided on Booking.com
