About this cottage rental

Just a short distance from kayaking, this smoke-free cottage lets you experience it all. Jump into your car and make short work of the 12-minute drive to Golf International de la Preze or the 13-minute drive to Château de la Rochefoucauld (and enjoy the property's convenient onsite parking in the meantime).

Relax by the heated pool or sip a drink in the garden of this 409-sq-ft cottage, which also features outdoor furniture and a BBQ grill. For a change of scenery, come inside and enjoy the free WiFi, cable/satellite TV, and DVD player.

The kitchen is equipped with an oven, a stovetop, and a refrigerator, as well as a coffee maker, an electric kettle, and a microwave. Bathroom amenities include a hair dryer and towels. And you won't have to pack extra clothes, because you'll also have access to laundry facilities. Other amenities include bed sheets, an ironing board, housekeeping, and heating.

We had a fabulous time, the gite was excellent, very clean, the bed was comfortable. the pool great too, Christine the host was excellent going above and beyond our expectations to make us welcome and gave us information about the local area. We can’t wait to go again.

We have just arrived home from the most wonderful holiday! We can only describe the gite as paradise. We were so grateful for the beautiful pool to cool off in. Christine is the perfect host in every way. Such a lovely tranquil place to relax and a beautiful area to explore. We cannot say enough good things about this property. Definitely deserves more than 10/10!

We stayed for 4 days in Alan and Maggies Gite. We wished we had booked for longer....Everything you could need was there. It had a well equipped kitchen, with a very nice unexpected welcome pack. The bed spoilt us as I never slept in such a comfortable bed, it was like sleeping on a cloud!! And the garden Terrace and pool were the perfect place to relax - beautiful! More importantly for us was the kindness and support we were given. We went there to research the area as we are hoping to buy a house ourselves. We were introduced to the golf club and some of their friends, everyone like Alan and Maggie themselves were charming and eager to share information and advice. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to our friends and family. X
