Beautiful location, pleasant and amiable host. The cottage was charming, cozy and well equipped with everything we needed for our short stay. The roads in and out of the location require some concentration but in dry conditions, were no problem at all.
This is purely a personal reaction but, as I am anti hunting, I found the two deer horn trophies on display in the cottage unwelcome. This is in no way an attack on the character or personality of the host, or a criticism of the facilities; my review scores should indicate my overall feelings on our stay here. This is just in the interests of information that may be relevant to someone who shares my beliefs.

Would have preferred a private garden area as dog v territorial.

The location was great, beautiful views and very comfortable. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. There was an empty cupboard in the kitchen which we used for the food we bought with us which is something self catering properties very rarely think of plus extras like picnic accessories. Dog friendly with use of the garden and patio area.
