Nice boutique hotel, very spacious room, pool water was cool (refreshing, not ice cold so still comfortable), room was cleaned during breakfast. Complimentary water bottle, separate pool towels, bath robe. Location is very nice to visit Mdina, and Valletta, Sliema or airport are quite accessible with public bus stop at walking distance. Custom breakfast requests were handled with a smile.
Need to select breakfast option the day before which sometimes is difficult to predict (but nice the rooms is cleaned when coming back from breakfast). When lots of others are eating at same time, the pastries are out of stock. Price was a bit steap.

Rooms cleaned to high standard daily and bigger than expected with plenty of mirrors to get ready. Staff very helpful and accommodating. Roof terrace was an added bonus getting sun from early morning all day.
Signs of damp on hallway wall, could do with a little make over.

Check-in on a Friday afternoon was via code, not a person (so this is really not a hotel); the room was fine, and air conditioning worked well. There is a breakfast signup sheet which allows exactly one choice per person, and requires specifying a time slot. For example, if one chooses a (small, good quality) fruit salad, then that is basically it in terms of included breakfast. The filled-in sheet needs to be left at the unstaffed front desk, and the next morning, there is no bread, no marmelade or honey, ... just a few croissants and a vintage coffee maker, really very minimal. There is street parking available just across from the hotel, EXCEPT on Sundays. It is possible to walk to M'dina from the hotel, in about 20 minutes or so.
Breakfast could really improve, at not much extra cost. It would also be nice to have a stand or something to put a suitcase on, so as to not have to put everything on the floor.
