Nestled in Long Beach, this charming condo for $200 per night is a great choice for your next break. 🏡Pura Vida is a 1 bedroom apartment located on the second story of our *100+ year old* home, built in 1922. Note: This listing has stairs and this is a self check-in property. That means that you will let yourself with your unique code through the coded doors. I will not be there to greet you, but available if you need assistance or something arises. The apartment does have a private entrance, however, it is through a shared mudroom once you enter our home. Once you enter, you will see a door that says "pure vida" with a coded knob. We decorate for most holidays. 🌞Enjoy the balcony looking over the street of this century old area. We get beautiful morning sun so it’s a great spot to enjoy your coffee! Also a perfect for hanging out with a cocktail at night if you choose to stay in! 🛟Sleeping arrangements: The apartment has one bedroom with a full sized bed. You can fit a pack n play in the room as well (which we can provide). The living room has a futon which can sleep one adult or 2 children. There is also a full blow up mattress available for use as well as a toddler sized blow up mattress. This space sleeps 3 adults comfortably but could fit a couple more if needed. Perfect for a family. Please let us know how many children will be with you and we will do our best to accommodate! 🏄Listing includes: 3 adults and children 16 and under. IF you have more children please contact me and I will adjust the reservation. All children 16 and under are included (ie: 2 parents and 3 children under 16). Any adults (17 and older) beyond the 3 included are subject to an additional charge of $50 Per person per night. ⛵️Children: We are completely child friendly! There is a gate to block the stairs when you come with children (please notify us so we can have it ready). We offer booster seat/highchair, sit me up, baby activity chair, baby bjorn portable crib (pack n play), umbrella stroller and a baby bath which are all readily available. The kitchen has some sippy cups, children's plates, snack cups, bottle drying rack etc. We also have toys for little ones from infant to toddler. As well as coloring books and puzzles. ⚓️Please know that this is our home. We are a family with dogs and small children. Although we do our best to keep noise down before 8am and after 9pm, you may still hear us. In the same respect, we ask that our guests be courteous and keep noise down during those same hours. 🏖️ Some things we offer: •TVs in bedroom and living area with fire stick (no cable) •Barware •Board games •Poland Spring water cooler •Drip coffee maker (pot and single cup) with filters and coffee •Stovetop espresso maker •Tea •Beach passes (4 family passes good for 4 adults and children- anyone over the age 13 needs their own pass) if more day passes are needed, you may purchase before you enter the beach •3 beach chairs •Beach towels and blanket •Beach bag •Beach toys •Beach pop up tent for babies •Umbrella •Beach wagon •Outdoor shower (for rinsing off only- not for full showers). Our guests usually respect the space and our property- however, we need to disclose that if you trash the apartment or destroy any of our property you will be charged accordingly (for broken items, for extra cleaning etc).

The property is very pretty, great location to town, restaurants, beach & LIRR The kitchen is cute & well equipped. There’s a lovely outside deck for morning coffee or al fresco dining & the hostess is lovely & responsive. There are plenty of books, games, children’s toys and nice touches throughout. The negatives included limited sleeping quarters. The only bed is TINY- sleeps 1 average sized adult or 2 skinny-minis. However, there is a larger aerobed in living room closet. The noise level definitely effected my stay. Unless you are a very earlier riser, prepare yourself for a 5:30-7:00 AM wake up call from small children running LOUDLY below you on the wood floors. Unfortunately you can hear every footfall as the house is old. Lots of pros here, however the cons personally outweighed them for me.

We especially appreciated the host’s effort to anticipate every possible need guest may have. Lots of little details about the place that shows they care to may their guest’ stay comfortable. Also, every text was promptly and completely addressed. I value responsiveness, and they scored high in that regard.

I stayed here for a weekend. I am from Florida and came for a 60th birthday party in the next town over. Tons of places around to eat. I had no issues with parking. Apartment was clean and fully equipped with everything we needed. Bed was a little small for 2 people especially if you're over 6ft, but it was comfortable. Pictures are exactly what it says it is. Host were nice and responded quickly.
