The house was in a central location within the city walls. It was very peaceful and there was very little traffic on our street. We had a parking permit and we never had any trouble finding a parking spot. Entry to the property was easy as it was via a key lock box. The house has obviously been recently renovated and it was tastefully furnished to a good standard. The welcome hamper was a really thoughtful touch.
There was nothing we really disliked about the property. It would have been nice to have more placemats to protect the new furniture but it wasn’t a big deal.

It was quiet. It was in a good location for accessing the city on foot. Parking was easy. It was beautifully decorated.
The bathroom isn't great. There is no toothbrush holder, no towel rail, no ring for a hand towel, and the shower doesn't drain very well. The shower temperature can be intermittent.

The property was comfortable and very good, clean in most places. Location was ideal. Parking on street would have been great if we had been provided with a permit. I booked this property because it had parking. The permit was taken by previous occupants. We were offered payment for council parking which was not acceptable did STAYS YORK care, NO. Their communication was appalling, I had to constantly contact them. Do Not Book Stays York Accommodation they will not support you, they just want your money. Oh and they were keen to keep reminding you not to use Booking .com if you return with them.
