It’s an basic apartment with kitchen, washing machine
1) OBNOXIOUS STAFF: about 4 months before check in, we received email asking us to send passport pictures over. We express concern about internet security and ask for a secure link to upload passport information. Instead, we received a email asking us to CANCEL our reservation.
In my life of traveling about 50 yrs, I had not come across such rude and unhelpful reservation person. That person need to be 🔥 fired and replace.
2) HOUSE RULES not stated in booking.com-
a) guests suppose to sort out various recycle material etc. no containers provided
b)The tons of rules should be make known when booking so we know what we are signing up for. Staying in HOTEL is more simple
3) We received message and ASK NOT to give NEGATIVE COMMENTS ONLINE so the apartment can be more searchable. So, DON’T TRUST all the positive reviews. It was filtered out
4) walking directions to apartment not clear. We are ask to go to exit 4. We ask the station staff and they have no clue, and we could not find it and took Uber instead. End up costing us $20 each trip. Besides even you find the exits to the street, it’s all uphills walk with 20 flights of stairs cases, impossible walk if you have luggages.
Mail box location direction is wrong. The mailbox is not located where it was indicated on the instructions.
Not only the reservation staff is rude, also cannot give clear directions.
5) This is the one worst booking experience we ever experienced so far.

The apartment was clean and spacious.
It was close to the train station and funicular to the lake and town centre.
We chose an apartment instead of a hotel so we had use of a washing machine. Unfortunately, unlike in Australia, no washing powder was provided.
It would have been good to have a photo of the outside of the building as it was hard to find.

The apartment was spacious and had air conditioning in the living room and bedroom, which was wonderful as the temperatures each day were 34 degrees. The kitchen was well equipped with a full size fridge, and a washer/dryer.
Whilst it was walking distance from the train station, it was uphill and away from the main part of town, in an area with no local shops or cafe.
