Right on the shore of the Euboean Gulf, next to the ancient harbour of Anthidona, this private estate stands in an evergreen Mediterranean garden whose trees have been growing since 1988. The sea lies just beyond the garden, with clear waters ideal for swimming and snorkelling, and every evening the sunset turns the gulf golden in front of the house.



The property is made up of two homes, each with its own living room with fireplace, a fully equipped modern kitchen, TV and Wi-Fi, which makes it perfect for large families or two families travelling together. The interiors are decorated with vintage pieces, traditional crafts and 19th-century bedroom furniture alongside objects collected from around the world, while air conditioning keeps the rooms cool in summer.



Seven bedrooms welcome up to 14 guests: five bedrooms with a double bed and one bedroom with two single beds and one with a bunk bed, served by six bathrooms. A quiet room for working and a balcony with sea views complete the accommodation.



Outside, the large pool, 3.5 metres deep, is surrounded by a wide sundeck with bamboo sunbeds and pool towels. A stone kiosk with a large table invites long lunches and dinners outdoors next to the charcoal barbecue, a swing chair sways in the shade and children will love the completely private garden. Cleaning and a change of linen and towels every three days are included.



Seaside tavernas are less than 2 km away and the village of Loukisia, with cafés and a supermarket, about 3 km. The lively town of Chalkida, with the famous Euripus strait and Karababa castle, is 16 km away, the beach of Alykes 10 km, and Athens airport around 1.5 hours by car, making Villa Prassini an easy and peaceful seaside retreat close to the capital. A car is recommended to explore the area.
