There are restaurants and shops only 1.5– 2kms drive away, and the historical main town of the island is about 10 mins drive away. Kea is an island which has escaped the influence of mass tourism and therefore offers something really attractive to the independent traveller. It is located just an hour’s ferry ride from Lavrion so can be easily accessed from Athens airport.
