Very sympatic owner, came second day to introduce himself and follow up if he have everything. Showed us a few games in the garden which we overlooked originally. Fully equipped kitchen, large and comfortable rooms, available coffee of all varieties, tea, chocolate, mix for pancakes and pancake maker like in motels, all ready to use. 2 bathrooms which was amazing.
Lots of moskitos in the evening, understandable with closeness of water. We were disappointed by the fact, that the lake nearby is not for swimming due to some bacteria in the water, which would be great in summer.

This is a great “home away from home” to explore the Crater Lake area. The home is very clean and well thought out with all the essentials needed for a welcoming stay.
The “cafe” setup with backyard views of the pines and bird feeder was a great place to start the day. It was stocked with complimentary coffee, teas, hot cocoa and apple cider. Even all types of creamers and sugars. What a treat. The water cooler was a nice plus too.
The beds were comfortable with super soft sheets. The kitchen is well stocked to prepare meals. You can enjoy your meals at the dining table with views of the pines or out on the spacious deck. Highly recommend going into Klamath to pick up groceries at Walmart.
After a day of hiking it was very nice to relax on your own private deck or on the screened in porch. The fresh air and the chatter of the birds was ideal for unwinding, reading or a catnap.
WiFi connectivity was great and you can easily access your Apps on the TVs in the living room or bedrooms.
Super host. Great commutation and very knowledgeable of the area. Truly cares about your experience and the comfort of your stay.

Could not have picked a better place to stay for our 3 days in Crater Lake NP. Very clean, well-appointed, comfortable, easy, scenic drive to/from the park morning/afternoon, and super welcoming host. So glad we chose the Chiloquin Cabin. Enjoyed all the birds coming to feed mornings with coffee, and evenings with happy hour. Great convenience to be able to make breakfast and dinner evenings. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Bonus: Osprey nests just a few yards from the house, and saw them hunting in the evenings to feed the chicks.

I appreciated Jim's phone call to talk with us about check-in, lock box etc, and his warnings that grocery stores were kind of far scarce and suggestion to use Dollar General which was very helpful. It was fun to use the porch and indoor and outdoor games he provided, and of course his breakfast bar was fully stocked like others had mentioned. We didn't use much of it but he really put a lot of effort into getting it well stocked. The fenced yard would be super helpful for people who have dogs traveling with them. It has kinda kitchy but cute decorations for the feel of a mountain cabin, and the sun porch was super helpful in storing coolers, dirty boots etc so we didn't clutter up the house. We loved the solar lights that came on by the entrance as we came back late several nights, and that was a great help. It was the closest rental to Crater lake that we could find and saved us a lot of time not having to go to Klamath Falls back and forth, so it was convenient.
