Situated in Vilano Beach, this attractive house for $409 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Balconies, patios, and decks bring the beautiful outdoors to High Tide, our beach front house in St. Augustine. Spectacular ocean views from most rooms and all decks on this 4 bedroom - 3.5 bath - oceanfront home that sleeps 14. High Tide was recently renovated from top to bottom to include oak wood floors, custom kitchen cabinets, new tile, stainless steel appliances and all new furniture. Located on a high dune with walkway to the beach. The second floor of High Tide is the main living and dining area of the house. In the great room, a large HDTV occupies one corner, surrounded by overstuffed couches and chairs. Windows and sliding glass doors are everywhere , creating a nice indoor/outdoor vibe. Coffered ceilings add a nice touch as well, lightening this airy space still further. The dining room table is just adjacent to the great room, in a corner banked by windows. You may wind up taking many of your meals outdoors, but should you wish to assemble the group for a big dinner or other occasion, this is the place! The kitchen is alongside, spotlessly gleaming with full-sized appliances, well-stocked cabinets, and sliding glass doors out to the balcony that leads to the beach. A huge bedroom with a sitting area on the first floor comfortably sleeps with a king bed and a pull out sofa. This bedroom has views of the ocean and direct access to the beach. But this is only one of four bedrooms – you have your choice of locations at High Tide! The third floor is the showpiece of the house, the master suite occupying an entire side of the house has views of the ocean from the bedroom and the inter-coastal from the bathroom. Here you will find the best balcony views (as you might expect!), not to mention an ultra-comfortable Westin Heavenly king-sized bed, big overstuffed easy chair with matching ottoman (heaven for those marathon reading sessions late at night!), and a large master bathroom with separate shower and oversized soaking tub. Great house in great location on Vilano Beach. Bath on 2nd floor needs a towel bar or hooks. Loved everything about the house except the driveway. It's a deal breaker. Way, way too steep incline. Would not stay here again only because of that.

The house was extremely pleasant and very spacious. Beautiful views off the back and plenty of natural lighting. Pictures aren’t accurate off the back with the dunes. Higher tide comes all the way up so that there is no beach for a little while. Otherwise everything is wonderful.

The property is on the ocean and the beach is magnificent. The house is ok. We brought my elderly parents and the house was a real challenge due to the very steep (and scary) driveway as well as the many stairs (the last stair to the beach is missing which makes for fun). The house had basic utensils but didn’t have a working can opener or even a bottle opener. Worst of all, each day we found a cockroach in the bathroom.

We had to have the cleaners back on day 2 and they were there for 2 hours. The filter for the AC had to be replaced, it was black. On day 3 we lost the power in all the kitchen outlets and we I told them about it they never got back to me. The driveway is extremely steep and should be in the description. Linda don’t work, windows are fogged up. Maintenance required.

We really enjoyed our time at High Tide! We LOVED being right on the beach. You cannot get a better location. The only downside was that the ac in the downstairs bedroom doesn't get below 78 degrees and the driveway is VERY steep!

There were 8 family members, we were here for a wedding. The home was lovely with good space, however, there were several things that do need attention. I did write them down in the guest book. The coffee pot lasted one day. It was on its last leg, so we bought a new one and left it for the next guests. The wine opener was broken. The hair dryer ( only one) was about to short circuit so was not usable. The toilet paper holder in lower level bath was broken, as was the screen door on main level. Guests be aware to bring your own dish soap, hand soap, etc, as there was a very minimal supply of all, especially hand soap.... a few slivers was all that was there.

This beautiful home has a stellar open floor plan that is great for a crowd. It has gorgeous hardwoods through out with plush beds, tv's in each room and huge dining room table. Walk out onto the beach and double decks add to one's stay. Note: driveway is very steep. Great hosts and great stay!

Driveway is extremely steep. Required all vehicles to use low gear to get up it. Also balcony raiilings are very low. An accident waiting to happen. But the place is very nice. Great location on the beach. Wish hosts would have allowed a couple hours of late check out. 10 AM is pretty early after 3 days of Widespread Panic shows.

Stayed with a group of students. The Cindi was spacious and right in the beach. Beautiful views and easy access to the beach!

Only complaint was there was nothing to clean with. No sponges or windex or any cleaning products not even liquid dish soap
